When you visit the Bangor Public Library in person, we have displays throughout the building to help you discover new fiction and non-fiction titles to read. Here are some additional resources that you can use to add titles to your own personal TBR (To Be Read) lists!

NoveList

NoveList Plus ia a database for reading recommendations to help readers of all ages find information on books. Includes expert recommendations, read-alikes, reviews, articles, lists and more. Also provides audiobook information and recommendations.  You can also create an account and make your own lists!

NoveList K-8 Plus helps kids find books that are just right for their reading level and interests. Parents, teachers, and librarians can also find tools. 

Book Lists Curated by Staff

The Bangor Public Library creates book lists for various programs and to help patrons discover new titles. 

Many of these lists can be found printed out in a binder on the first floor near the self-checkout kiosks.
